NWTF DD Adams Award Winner! This soft maple and cedar laminate pot is a temptation that old gobblers can not resist. With an engraved sound board, this call has a nasally front end and a raspy barking yelp. This call comes with two, two piece, strikers one dymondwood and one hickory.
I have turkey hunted my entire life. I just about any call that you could name. Your call is one of the most realistic sounding, easiest to use that I’ve ever had.
The crystal mistress makes realistic yelps, cuts and purrs. Easy to run but does require regular conditioning. Make sure you have a conditioning stone or appropriate sand paper along with scotch brite for the strikers when you go in the field.
This call sounds awesome. It's easy to use and has a high front end with a raspy back end.... exactly the sound I wanted to fire up long beards. Worth the money

I've been turkey hunting since 1979, used wing bones, box, slate, mouth calls. The Mistress is unbelievable! Gotta love the nice touch with David signature!

Can't wait to use it this year. Very easy to use and makes all the right turkey noises. I use a mouth call most of the time but that is because I haven't found a pot call I like until now.
After vowing to take a year off of buying anything turkey hunting related (there is nothing I need to have this year). I broke down and bought not one but 2 pot calls. I already own a DH box call which I love but I didn’t yet own a DH pot call. I wanted to put the acclaimed mistress call against an offering from a well known custom call competitor. Both calls arrived within a day of each other and I couldn’t wait to run them both over several days. It’s not that I hate the second custom call, but without a doubt, I favor the quality and sound of the crystal mistress! Its tone is unmatched that I’ve found. Nasty and raspy and easy to run. This is a finely tuned turkey “instrument” if there ever was one. I can’t say enough positive things about it. The mistress was even ten dollars cheaper but worth much more. I could go on but you get the picture. Don’t ever doubt spending your money on a Dave Halloran call of any type! You will not be sorry and if you ever have a question or problem, you will deal with Ashley or David personally. If I ever want another call (cause I’m sure I’m gonna want another one next season), I know I’ll be going straight to the DH website. The only question for me is whether it will be a pot style call or box call. I’ve got about a year to figure that out.
