Ended up ordering 4 different mouth calls from David. Like them all, but the Natural Born Killer is my favorite. Call is very easy to use, using very little air. The call also has great feeling tape around the out side. Great call!!!

I have bought approximately a hundred different mouth calls from more than a dozen manufacturers, trying to find the one that worked best for me. The NBK is it. It sounds like a hen turkey, not a person using a mouth call trying to sound like a hen turkey. It is by far the most realistic sounding call I own. It has a high front end with a super raspy back end. Very realistic clucks and cuts. I have purchased 5 backups just in case David stops making them one day and will probably buy another 5 backups this year just to make sure I'm covered for the next decade. I think this calls excels at medium and close distances. I like David's combo cut for long range calling. The combo cut produces the same high end and rasp as the NBK and one could argue the two are equally good for medium range. Big companies give a lot of hype about all their calls, but David's stand out. The other great thing about David's mouth calls is that they are consistent. Every NBK you buy sounds the same, probably because he (rather than an employee at a big company) makes them by hand. There are no duds. David, thanks for your work.
Easy to use. Sound realistic
This has been my go-to call every year since I found it a few years ago. These North Georgia turkeys love the sounds out of this thing. Easy to yelp, cut, and purr with. I also love the volume I can get out of it when needed. I don’t go turkey hunting without it.
Used to use woodhavens. Find these to be better for me.
