I've been buying calls from David since he first started. While I have found all of the calls I've purchased to be excellent, I particularly love his pot calls (although the short boxes I have are outstanding as well). Out of all of the pot calls I have from David, I routinely go back to the Crystal Mistress. That's just my preference. The Halloran Hen, to me, is similar to the crystal mistress. It may be a little sharper. I thought it was an excellent call and I plan to use it this year. I recommend it for sure.

Just recieved mine today. Have several of your calls going back to meeting David @ NWTF Nashville in 2011 I think. So when you said this is the best of them all I had to have one. I have many custom calls so I guess I am kind of a collector but one of yours has always found its way into my vest in the Spring. They sound like a Turkey.
I've been looking for a pot with this sound for a while now easily one of the best call I've got I have other custom calls probably 20 and this is definitely in my top 3 awesome call great customer service!
