The Crystal Mistress has a sister, the Twisted Sister. This raspy yelping, sharp cutting call is definitely deserving of its name. The laminate pot combines the stability of thermal treated poplar with the tonal quality of yellow heart. When matched with the crystal striking surface over a slate soundboard, this call becomes a devastating tool in the turkey woods. Each call comes with two strikers.
David delivered on the Twisted Sister, as always. This is my 5th call from them, and every one of them is perfectly handcrafted and sounds amazing. It's fun to mix and match strikers. So far, I like the Purple Heart 2-Piece the best with the Twisted Sister. David and Ashley are great to work with as well, and the engraving is the icing on the cake. Buy without hesitation!
Craftsmanship of this call is second to none. Such a well put together call. The sounds it produces are very life like. From the quiet light calling to louder more aggressive calling ,sounds like a very well tuned instrument. Very easy to use just like any call David makes . Great looking pot call, great sound!
Won’t go to the woods without it now. Two hunts, two birds in just under three hours. Can get really loud raspy yelps to draw them in and easily mellow it down to sweet talk them in those last few steps.
By far one of the purest sounding pot calls I have ever laid a striker on! The high front end sounds so pure and the back end has the perfect amount of rasp to sound like the hen we all hear in the spring. Superior craftsmen ship that truly does kill.
From TN to WA and states in between, birds go crazy over the Twisted Sister. Over the last 10 years I’ve killed 100% of my birds with DH calls, and 99% with this one. Truly an amazing design.
