NWTF DD Adams Award Winner! This soft maple and cedar laminate pot is a temptation that old gobblers can not resist. With an engraved sound board, this call has a nasally front end and a raspy barking yelp. This call comes with two, two piece, strikers one dymondwood and one hickory.
Several years ago I took my 15 year old daughter the the NWTF Convention in Nashville. Given that she had killed several turkeys that I had called in for her, it was time for her to chose her own call so she could do her own calling. She took this opportunity as her right of passage into turkey hunting. She looked at all the calls at the convention. She looked at the mass produced calls from Primos, she looked at Woodhavens, she looked at calls from small makers...she looked at them all. After looking at the David Halloran calls she knew what she wanted. She wanted the Crystal Mistress. David gave her a few tips and she was hooked. After listening to her practice in the truck for the entire 7 hour ride home I was hooked too. I immediately ordered mine as soon as we got home. Now we both use nothing else. It’s a great call. Good for experienced hunters who need a bit more from their call but forgiving for younger hunters as well. I love it. Highly recommend the Crystal Mistress.
This call is very affordable and easy to use. I've killed a number of gobblers in northeastern Pa. using this call. I would definitely recommend it.
