NWTF DD Adams Award Winner! This soft maple and cedar laminate pot is a temptation that old gobblers can not resist. With an engraved sound board, this call has a nasally front end and a raspy barking yelp. This call comes with two, two piece, strikers one dymondwood and one hickory.

Last hunting season on a lease property, I heard this wonderful calling coming from the neighbor’s farm. A few days later I went out of the wood as the fellow hunter did. After some talking I congratulated him for his calling and the nice tom he got. He told me voluntarily that the jewel he was using was the Crystal Mistress from David Halloran. I had to get this incredible call. So I ordered one for myself, this art piece sound magic, easy to run and it’s got a great high pitched rasp. I own most of David’s calls, and they all kill turkeys!! The first one I bought was the Twisted Sister, which has an absolutely awesome sound. I’ve always loved crystal calls the best, so soon after I purchased the Crystal Mistress and was blown away immediately. It is so easy to control, and boy does it sound perfect. My favorite combo is to run it with the 2 piece striker that it comes with, and it is without a doubt my go to favorite call in my vest. It was also the first call I had engraved, so it means a bit more to me as well. I recommend it to everyone, and I picked up a couple of engraved ones for my friends on their birthdays. You can’t go wrong with and of the calls in this collection, they are all turkey killers, but the Mistress in my opinion is the best. See for yourself!!
Great call sounds great in the woods
Good call, haven’t used it as much as I’d like but all around it seems to be a versatile call in the woods.
My absolute favorite Halloran call. Easy to run, loud or soft. It’s got a great high pitched rasp. Sounds awesome in the woods!!
Several years ago I took my 15 year old daughter the the NWTF Convention in Nashville. Given that she had killed several turkeys that I had called in for her, it was time for her to chose her own call so she could do her own calling. She took this opportunity as her right of passage into turkey hunting. She looked at all the calls at the convention. She looked at the mass produced calls from Primos, she looked at Woodhavens, she looked at calls from small makers...she looked at them all. After looking at the David Halloran calls she knew what she wanted. She wanted the Crystal Mistress. David gave her a few tips and she was hooked. After listening to her practice in the truck for the entire 7 hour ride home I was hooked too. I immediately ordered mine as soon as we got home. Now we both use nothing else. It’s a great call. Good for experienced hunters who need a bit more from their call but forgiving for younger hunters as well. I love it. Highly recommend the Crystal Mistress.
This call is very affordable and easy to use. I've killed a number of gobblers in northeastern Pa. using this call. I would definitely recommend it.
