The new Metal Mouth Crystal Features a concave aluminum sound board set in a ebony stained sycamore pot. The design of the metallic sound board makes for nasty yelps with effortless roll over. Paired with both a one piece turned striker and a two piece striker, the Metal Mouth Crystal allows for a full range of calls. This call is pure turkey.
This call sounds amazing. It’s got a great pitch and clean notes. It rolls over from the first note to the second note with ease. It can be run softly or loudly and has a raspy finish if you so chose. The aluminum concave soundboard gives this call a truly pure turkey sound. The quality and craftsmanship - “That Kills” - is second to none. It’s a beautiful sounding call, and it’s every bit as good looking as it sounds. Received my Metal Mouth 11 today, went outside & ran a few yelps, cuts, cackles. & purrs,pure turkey rang through the woods! This is the fourth pot call I’ve purchased from David & they all are awesome sounding calls.IMO Hallorans pot calls are the BEST!!!
Truth is any half way decent call can help you kill a Gobbler if it is used the right way at the right time. However if you want a call that has beautiful craftsmanship and quality that kills (see what I did there lol) look no further. We all can brag about how much experience we all have myself included. Over 20 years of self taught successful public land hunting, doing turkey hunting classes and seminars for my regions NWTF I have a little myself, but not as much as others. So I guess what I am saying is not only do David’s calls look amazing they sound just as good as they look and are easy to use.

Turkey season over so was not able to use in Field. However, in the house the sound is great and the workmanship is wonderful.
I got this call late in the spring season for pressured birds and connected on a nice bird.The craftsmanship in this call is very nicely done and the sound and tone is phenomenal the rollover in the yelps is by far the best. You can run kee kees to a yelp effortlessly. Can't wait to really use it next spring turkey. By far it's a call worth the money if you want a call that is pure turkey this is the call to get.
