The Metal Mouth Crystal Features a crystal calling surface over a concave aluminum sound board set in a ebony stained sycamore pot. The design of the metallic sound board makes for nasty yelps with effortless roll over. Paired with both a one piece turned striker and a two piece striker, the Metal Mouth Crystal allows for a full range of calls. This call is pure turkey.
I like the sounds the metal mouth 2 makes. I am typically just a mouth call type of hunter, as I like to run and gun. However, I got bored and wanted to change it up. The metal mouth is easy to use and I love the way the purrs and yelps sound.
Speaking from how this call sounds to my ears and the sounds I can produce on it, this call is absolutely the best I own so far, no doubt (mainly because my other DH calls haven’t shipped yet, but ARE ordered!) I’ve been a long time Woodhaven user, I’ve got their Vision Crystal, Mahogany Crystal, Legend Glass/Slate, and several other brands of pot calls as well. As soon as I opened it, the sounds it makes right out of the box (to my ears) blow every other call I have straight out of the water. This is the most hen-sounding pot call I’ve used to date and it’s also extremely easy to run without any funny noises. If you’re on the fence between Woodhaven and David Halloran Calls like I was, just give this one a shot. It’s definitely got the front vest pocket reserved.

This is great call took out of box and liked the fact that it was ready to go I also liked the fact that it had two strikers. Best call I ever owned. Great call David

This call sounds amazing. It’s got a great pitch and clean notes. It rolls over from the first note to the second note with ease. It can be run softly or loudly and has a raspy finish if you so chose. The aluminum concave soundboard gives this call a truly pure turkey sound. The quality and craftsmanship - “That Kills” - is second to none. It’s a beautiful sounding call, and it’s every bit as good looking as it sounds. This is my third pot call from the Halloran Custom Call line and I’m looking forward to adding more in the near future! Thanks David and Ashley for another great call, and craftsmanship that kills!
This is my fourth pot call I’ve purchased from David & each call rings pure turkey,David’s calls are in a class of their own!
Received my Metal Mouth 11 today, went outside & ran a few yelps, cuts, cackles. & purrs,pure turkey rang through the woods! This is the fourth pot call I’ve purchased from David & they all are awesome sounding calls.IMO Hallorans pot calls are the BEST!!!
