Are you looking to add some variety to your vest? Consider pairing a one piece turned striker to your line up. These are a great way to easily add variety to any call.

Yellowheart, Purple Heart and Ipe are great all around strikers, their heavier weight pairs well with all surfaces.
Jatoba is a great mid-weight striker, commonly paired with crystal.
Hickory is a great option for slate surfaces easily providing both soft calling and aggressive calling.
Persimmon is a softer striker pairs well with slate for soft calling
Bloodwood is a hard and heavy striker, pairs well with crystal and ceramic surfaces
Tigerwood is a mid weight striker pairing well with all surfaces particularly slate.

Love this striker! It quickly became one of my favorites. It does purrs, clucks , yelps with ease. It will get loud. Will be my go too this spring.

I got the Purple Heart and Yellow Heart one piece strikers in a couple weeks ago. They are beautifully made and they sound amazing on my Twisted Sister and Chrystal Mistress!!

Bloodwood hand turned striker

The Twisted Sister pot needs a striker that is dense and hard to produce the sounds you need. I have used the Halloran two piece Dymond wood striker with great success. I decided to purchase the hand turned bloodwood striker and I am very satisfied. It produces a sound somewhat different than Dymond wood but much more forgiving and a larger sweet spot. Too late to hunt with it this year because I limited out using the Twisted Sister two weeks into the season. Its an exceptional call when paired with the harder wood strikers. Both strikers require fine sand paper to condition because of the hardness in my opinion.

Worked just as good as I figured it would with the quality that David produces it was never a question in my mind.
