The next call in the Top Shelf line up. The Top Shelf Slate is a polished slate calling surface in a black limba and bloodwood laminate pot. The combination results in an extremely easy to use and lively slate call. Great for both soft calling and excited aggressive calling. This slate will give you traditional slate cluck and purrs with lively glass like cutting and yelps. Each call comes with one dymondwood two piece striker.
It’s definitely “Top Shelf” . You won’t go wrong with this call in the woods. Purring, clucking, and calling is clean , crisp and sounds like the hen is in your lap calling for you!
Best slate call that I have owned. Very nice purr and clucks are crisp. As well as cutting.. very nice clear front end yelp rolling into great rasp. also great looking call and well-made.
This call, like others from David, is extremely easy to get good sound from. I can't express enough, anyone who is less experienced or a pro, should be using these products. They are literally killer!

This is my second slate call I have got from David. I love soft calling and the cherry slate is one of my favorites but the top shelf is a beautiful looking pot call the black limba and bloodwood really sets it off. It is now become my favorite slate call. The polished slate is really easy to run and sounds amazing.
