The slate over glass call is an excellent call for closing the distance. Soft clucks, yelps and purrs can be reproduced with ease. And if the need for more aggressive calling arises, don't be afraid to hit'em with some loud yelps and sharp cutting. Each call comes with a striker.

David Halloran pot calls are the real deal! Purchased a Cherry Slate call for close quarters Eastern turkey in Minnesota. After struggling for years to call birds with a mass produced box call, my wife and I called in a nice Jake in ten minutes opening week in Minnesota.

As always I'm absolutely impressed with the build quality and sound of David's calls. This Cherry Slate call is the gold standard of slate calls. Paired it with a two piece Dymondwood striker I purchased last season ......and ohhh boy! The big nasty gobblers might as well jump in the freezer now!
