Longbox - Ebony/Black Limba

Wow, I really can't say enough. Really puts it out in the wind, but tones down just right when you want it. Easy Ke's right into crisp cuts with just the right rasp. I've used lots of boxes in the past, but once I tried the long box I'll never go back.

Top quality construction as is typical of all David Halloran calls. Havent put call to use yet by on the field so difficult to speculate on effectiveness of call. I suspect it will perform flawlessly.

I recently purchased the long box after watching a video of David playing one. I have always been fond of short boxes and this is my first long box. Like all Of David’s calls the quality is outstanding. They look and sound great. I like the high kee kee call this call can produce. I own two short boxes of David’s along with six of his pot calls and several other items. I own numerous custom calls and other calls and David’s are always outstanding. David’s service and delivery times are outstanding also.

This long box is by far the best I’ve ever laid my hands on. It honestly feels like a finely tuned musical instrument. Couldn’t be more pleased with the sound and craftsmanship of this call. I bought a second for my 17 year old son. It does it all. Kee Kees, yelps, clucks and can even gobble with it. Get one!

After I received it. I ordered 4 more, can't beat the quality or the sound. I wanted to get one for each of my boys. Thank you David

I have a number of long boxes from top notch custom call makers, and this one ranks very high on the list. It truly is easy to run and the sound is second to none. Kee is great with a sharp break into a raspy yelp. It has a near perfect hen yelp and mine can produce and a high pitched gobble. When comparing long boxes, the DH long box is smaller than some others in length and depth which likely gives it a higher pitch than those from other call makers. This wood combination not only makes great sound, is easy to run, and has beautiful color variations. This is a nice call for Spring or Fall seasons.

Best sounding long box I’ve ever heard & easy to operate. Can’t quit running it, driving wife crazy! Can’t wait for Turkey season with this box!

This is my third box call I’ve purchased from David & I must say this is a musical instrument for turkeys, spits out pure turkey & makes the best Kee Kee run I’ve ever heard on a box call. My other two box calls ( Purple Heart & Cedar, Ebony & Walnut are also AWESOME sounding box calls. No doubt David Halloran makes the best turkey calls on the market!
