My go to calling is mouth calls. I wanted a nice box call for just locating old gobbler’s late mornings. After runnin this call a bit I was honestly shocked how well it sound’s being aggressive with it and still having a crisp raspy high end sound! Can’t wait to run it in the woods this spring. This is the best quality box call I've ever owned great call! Actually sounds like the turkeys in my region where I hunt. All around a great box call definitely worth owning one!
I was disappointed that chalk was not included with the call. I just happened to order chalk because I did not read it came with chalk. I am glad I did. For then money spent, I would think that would be a given. That said, it is an awesome call - the best box call I have owned.

As DAVID would say, set up is everything but this is a really nice call , purchased after watching exceptional video of him doing Q&A on turkey hunting , harvested a nice late season bird as a result
I’ve bought several products from David which consist of pot calls and strikers. This box call is my first from him and there is no exception to the quality of his work in it compared to the pot calls and strikers. Same quality craftsmanship and performed as described - unique sound. It is what I would call a shrill front end and enough rasp at the end. The first time I used it I made stubborn gobbler shock gobble mid-morning. David, keep up the great work.
I got this call right after the 2022 season and have been practicing with it since. Not only does it sound as real as a live hen it looks great too. The craftsmanship is outstanding. Just called in my first Mississippi Longbeard on a windy day. 3 note Yelp and he was committed! Cutting sounds amazing as well on this call.
