This is the best long box call ever I touched! Easy running and sounds good! This doesn't bother my wife when I played with it in the house! Highly recommended!
Simply the finest box call I have ever owned (and I have owned a number). Call turns over perfectly, and has a realistic rasp. The first call I made with it had two longbeards respond. Easy to run and nice looking also. Thanks 4/7/2020

I have had the pleasure to hunt with your calls for years and there have been many wonderful hunts as a result. This long box is more like a musical instrument than a device to produce Turkey sounds. It is beautiful and sounds absolutely amazing. It is a work of functional art - impressive craftsmanship. I cannot wait for Turkey season to start so I can take it to the woods. Thank you.
I got the Ipe/Black Limba with the holster.... what a sweet sounding call that for being a longbox its super simple to run and a great tool here west (Merriam , Goulds...) ...not to say great craftsmanship (beautiful call...lots of detail) design by hunter that knows what you need on the field
Great sounding box call, easy to run and maintain, well built and worth the money. Will be using this for SC spring season and Kentucky's fall season! Will post pics and give update after season.
I bought the long box & holster as my first from Dave Halloran. I have owned many box calls over the years but nothing like the Long Box. This a top quality box call made with true craftsmanship & is built to last a lifetime. This call can not only reach out long distances but can also make the softest purrs necessary to coax in a close gobbler. I also like the ability to make this call “gobble” (watch Dave’s video). A must have is the holster-a feature of which is the wool insert designed to keep the call secure & silent. Nice job Dave!
