I consider David’s box call holsters inseparable from the call itself. I own a good, expensive vest that has a box call holder. The call rattles a bit inside the vest when I move. David custom makes his holsters so the box doesn’t move or make a sound, not even a little. This is not a one size fits all product. It is made specifically to keep that particular call snug, quiet and out of the way on your side at the belt line. I have David’s short box (Ebony/Walnut) and long box (IPE/Black Imba). I won’t go hunting without the holsters. When I buy a box call from David, I have him engrave my 7-year old son’s name. They are so well made that I know I will pass them down (in the holsters) to him when I can no longer go one day.

These calls are expensive. but worth every penny. The holsters protect your investment and keep them quiet while you are moving around in the woods. I personally will by a holster for my box calls and a zipper cover for my pot calls. Thanks for the great products.
