Longbox - Ebony/Black Limba

I have a number of long boxes from top notch custom call makers, and this one ranks very high on the list. It truly is easy to run and the sound is second to none. Kee is great with a sharp break into a raspy yelp. It has a near perfect hen yelp and mine can produce and a high pitched gobble. When comparing long boxes, the DH long box is smaller than some others in length and depth which likely gives it a higher pitch than those from other call makers. This wood combination not only makes great sound, is easy to run, and has beautiful color variations. This is a nice call for Spring or Fall seasons.

This is my third box call I’ve purchased from David & I must say this is a musical instrument for turkeys, spits out pure turkey & makes the best Kee Kee run I’ve ever heard on a box call. My other two box calls ( Purple Heart & Cedar, Ebony & Walnut are also AWESOME sounding box calls. No doubt David Halloran makes the best turkey calls on the market!

I have purchased a few halloran box calls over the years; some for gifts and some for personal use. This by far is the the most realistic box call I have ever used. Would definitely purchase again if something would happen to mine.

I absolutely love this box. The heavy lid makes this the most user friendly long box I've ever run. The kee kee sounds amazing and the low rasp of the yelp is excellent as well. I know this call will be essential to locating those late morning gobblers. The craftmanship and quality are unmatched. I definitely won't be going into the turkey woods without this call.
