Fantastic call! This box call is made so very well. It is pure turkey and can do everything you need it to do. Not only will it make every sound a Turkey makes it will do it perfectly.
hunted turkeys pretty serious for a couple decades now & never carried a box never owned a good one - always killed bird but I got my first DH box (black limba) and I carried it to Kansas a week later … wind blowing late afternoon struck 2 gobblers after 5pm - first time out - they were well over 300 yards at first gobble - the pitch, tone really carry’s & they couldn’t resist and are able to hear - 15 minutes later i killed my first KS long beard - i’ll never leave home without it especially when competing with the wind and trying to locate birds i know are there. Awesome workmanship, just a beautiful box. I’m convinced this box made it happen because the wind was terrible and the piercing volume I can put on this box when needed is hard to produce with a slate or diaphragm - my opinion.
Beautiful call, sounds better than it looks. Has a raspy bark that fires them up. You won’t be disappointed.
