This call is a best seller and one of my personal favorite combinations. This checkered short box has a purple heart lid paired with a cedar box. This call can do it all, from loud locating to close range purrs. The cedar box is makes it easy to use with a lot of great rasp.
My two favorite box calls Purple heart / Cedar and Ebony/Poplar. Davids checkered box call with a heavy paddle makes easy to use and sounds great.
This is not only a beautiful box but produces very realistic sounds. This is one of my favorite box calls. Only wish I could sound as good as David !!!!

the old saying is you get what you pay for.david has done one better than that.this call as well as all his calls are a step above.the purple heart and cedar has a perfect rasp and cut a great tone both loud and soft.i also have the black limba with first class calls
This is one of, if not the best box I’ve had. I’m not that great on a box and the design of this one just makes it easy. Love the high pitched rasp I get out of it too.
Placed my order after a successful hunt in New York. Hunting with a friend, we managed a double the first day on two long beards, and nearly doubled up the next day from the same blind. Never heard a better box call! Looking forward to this season.
