This checkered short box has a purple heart lid paired with a Sapele box. The Purple Heart & Sapele combination is a smooth running call that really excels at mid-range calling. The call will give you plenty of volume when you need it but tones down quickly for softer yelps and purrs.

This call is as advertised. It is incredibly easy to use and has an amazing natural sound. It transitions easily from high pitched to that raspy old hen finish. It’s effortlessly goes from soft finishing calls to louder raspy calls. The only downside may be that I like the call so much I may over call. And to say that it is well made and beautiful is an understatement!! Great box call!!
