This checkered short box has a purple heart lid paired with a Sapele box. The Purple Heart & Sapele combination is a smooth running call that really excels at mid-range calling. The call will give you plenty of volume when you need it but tones down quickly for softer yelps and purrs.
as always another quality box call from Dave I really like the yelps this call puts out I can go soft and I can go hard. Looking forward to putting it to use

When I pulled it out of the box did some yelps and cuts it sounded great can’t wait to use it this coming season. also looks awesome
I've been hunting thunderchikens for many years and have called in hundreds with several different box calls, but none have come close to the realistic sounds that the Purple Heart/ Sapele box makes... Highly recommended.. Keep up the great work David !
