This call is a best seller and one of my personal favorite combinations. This checkered short box has a purple heart lid paired with a cedar box. This call can do it all, from loud locating to close range purrs. The cedar box is makes it easy to use with a lot of great rasp.
Not only does this call look good but it sounds even better. It is an investment but you get what you pay for. Top notch quality.
Upon opening the package that contained the call the first thing you notice is the craftsmanship that goes into making this call. The call is very easy to run and replicates all of the wild turkeys vocabulary. Really like how the call rolls over from clear front end to rasp when yelping. Great sounding box call!! If you are looking for a box call or Crystal pot call look no further I purchased a purple heart cedar box as well as a twisted sister pot, both calls are extremely easy to run the sound is spot on to what turkey truely sound like. The beauty and craftsmanship is a functional piece of art don't waste your money on production calls , although they will call birds the sound does not even come close to David's calls he has mastered call making . Turkey season is right around the corner. I’m geared up with 3 of Dave’s calls. The Purple Heart and cedar call has the exact sound I was looking for to complete my arsenal.
I got this for my husband for his birthday. He was between this one and the ebony and walnut but I got this one without knowing he was between the two. He hasn't stopped making noise since he found it on the front porch 2 weeks before his birthday. I was pleasantly surprised with fast shipping and the great quality. He is a happy boy!
