This call is a best seller and one of my personal favorite combinations. This checkered short box has a purple heart lid paired with a cedar box. This call can do it all, from loud locating to close range purrs. The cedar box is makes it easy to use with a lot of great rasp.
It's a very good looking and well made call but from the videos I've seen of it being used I was expecting it to be much better and louder than my off the shelf calls. But it does seem to be a well made call.
I did not have an opportunity to use this particular call during the 2024 season as it was unavailable then and I had limited out on gobblers using David’s ebony and black limba short box call! This call sounds every bit as good as the ebony one however. Also, thanks to Ashley getting this call to me as soon as she did.
Loving this call as much as the turkeys are. My call has already shortened the life span of a couple of them. Its AWESOME !!!
