This call is a best seller and one of my personal favorite combinations. This checkered short box has a purple heart lid paired with a cedar box. This call can do it all, from loud locating to close range purrs. The cedar box is makes it easy to use with a lot of great rasp.
I’ve heard a lot of great things about David’s box calls but I never thought a box call could sound so much like a real turkey. I’ve tried several custom boxes from various makers and a Zink Wicked Series box… the sounds this box produces beat out any other box I’ve ever run by 10 fold. Yelps and clucks take no effort and sound amazing, and the gobble alone is enough reason to purchase. And the craftsmanship is second to none, not only is it the best sounding by a long shot but it is the prettiest box I’ve laid my hands on. Can’t wait to get in the woods with it! Will definitely be trying out the macassar ebony/walnut next!
