This call is a best seller and one of my personal favorite combinations. This checkered short box has a purple heart lid paired with a cedar box. This call can do it all, from loud locating to close range purrs. The cedar box is makes it easy to use with a lot of great rasp.

I own several box calls of different makes. But by far this cedar box call from David Halloran is the best sounding and realistic call I’ve ever used. I will own more of these. Exceptionally made.

I purchased this call last spring but couldn’t go because of Covid-19. I finally got to use it this spring in Nebraska and called up a dandy gobbler! This call sounds as great as it looks! David’s craftsmanship is second to none!

Upon opening the package that contained the call the first thing you notice is the craftsmanship that goes into making this call. The call is very easy to run and replicates all of the wild turkeys vocabulary. Really like how the call rolls over from clear front end to rasp when yelping. Great sounding box call!! Looking forward to hunting with it this spring!
I have a couple of Dave’s calls and this one has its own unique sound as well. Season opens in a couple weeks and I’ve already had em fired up with it. Come on opening day!!!
