Since I won this call as a prize in a gobbler contest last Spring, I have not got to use it to hunt Spring gobblers yet. I did use it this fall. Excellent cutts, clucks, and cackles. Yelps start high, then drop off the cliff with rasp. I own 10 box calls but only carry two when hunting. this one has found a pocket in my vest.
great box, sounds great and looks even better. I especially like the heavy lid , super easy to use. like these calls so much , I also have a butternut & walnut and have a poplar & ebony ordered. You need to get you one.
I bought this box after I lost my favorite box call. Best review I can give is that 2 of the guys that I hunt with ordered one for themselves. Great Call
